Tiger. Just look at how we are doing. Under Hans we just wallowed.

Neither. Hans was our downfall. He turned us from a premium brand to Walmart. And now we’re becoming Dollar General under the new guy.

Yes caged. Dan is a force of one. The board works by vote. He didn't have the votes till last fall. Now uncaged he will roam freely. The Hans tenure was driving him wild.

@dw oh pleaseeee caged back????. what is wrong with you! all the board members should be replaced. they are all accountable not just Hans. and Dan was part of the problem. Dan is just capitalizing on the failure to make himself relevant

To think... if not for Artic Frost CPNI violation and Frontier Merger needing FCc approval The Vz Board would of never been forced to change out Mr 5EEEEE.

Dan at least understands USA zip codes

If we can't have Ivan back. I choose Tiger.

Stratton is a hole. Dan any day over Hans. I find him a breath of fresh air. He is highly skilled and sees the problems for what they are. Hans was too tolerant of lazy no shows. We can't lose with Dan.

Dan will toss retail outlets to the the side. Hans foolishly coddled and nurtured the stores as a place of thievery and DEI propaganda. I choose Dan. He is a voice of reason.

Dan is absolutely superior to Hans. He understands the problems with entitlement here. Hopefully he is not stymied on his path to doing what is needed. I suspect the board knows they have a tiger on their hands and were reluctant at first to let him have full say in operations. He was likely regularly vetoed over the last several years. Now that he has been given free reign, he can accomplish what we desperately need done.

Hans will p-e on you and tell you it is Lemonade.

Dan will p-e on you, tell you it is p-e, and demand you beg for more.

Dan will work in earnest to accomplish the needed tasks. Hans just massaged everything accomplishing nothing but kumbaya nonsense and DEI.

Dan any day of the week. He is on a mission. I am betting on him being successful.

Dan is the man for the job. He was held back like a caged tiger by the board. Finally allowed to prowl freely he will make the needed changes. There was and is too much dead weight in the management ranks, particularly in retail. It is very refreshing to see.

Should have been Nick Jeffery from Frontier, but they couldn't pay him enough. He turned Frontier around and made it a lean, well performing machine. Hans is THE reason VZ is struggling so much and why they had to cut so many jobs. Hans ran VZ into the ground, as he did with Erickson prior.

I find it funny that a man that sat on the board throughout Hans' time as CEO, then turns around and criticizes the exact work and failures he approved on said board. Anyone think about that? He knew damn well what was going on and didn't seem to bat an eye until there was opportunity to take the reigns and then blame the previous leader.... to me, that's a poor way to start anything as CEO and is a big flashing sign!!!

@OP: Hans failed miserably so will Dan succeed to shrink both of the two craft Verizon unions because neither of these cannot be afford any longer......

@OP: the question is, Dan versus Hans, who will "earn" or more likely "shirk" the most of Verizon's shareholders money??

@OP:

Raymond Smith (RBOC CEO of Bell Atlantic)

Charles "Chuck" Lee (CEO of GTE)

Ivan Seidenberg (CEO of Bell Atlantic and then CEO of Verizon)

Lowell McAdam, as Verizon CEO known to have recruited Hans Vestberg)

Hans Vestberg (scathed former CEO of Ericsson domiciled in Stockholm, Sweden)

Daniel Schulman (former CEO of PayPal)

Next, private equity, breakup, to be purchased by Elon Musk???

Thoughts, about Elon??

Dan, is the man, because as an "honest and hard-working foreigner" and underscoring as an US citizen, I continue to pray for my continued future at Verizon.

The Shank is gone = good riddance!!

Shank's coat tail riders, thus who of the Asian-Indian culprits are next as there is a long list of slated nominees???

Hans was a fraud and while we are accountable to hit monthly targets lets not forget failed CEO Lowell... not one decision that carried on Vz to next level.
Debt, Hans over Stratton.

Undoubtedly Tiger Schulman. Hans just messed around with DEI and feel good nonsense. The stock is responding and lots of dead weight are gone. It seems there is some hope for a better future.

Hmmm. Death by DEI or death by AI. Both cut from the same cloth and sip the same vintage of wine. Send as much work out if the US. Seems to me Tiger was on the board the last 8 years and approved the strategic direction of mr. 5yee……..I think the better question is where is Ivan and Lowell when we need them!!!
