Forget getting laid off, people will start just leaving on their own if we’re too lazy to write appraisals. Come on, how did they get hired if they can’t pronounce the words AI gave them. And don’t forget that clown last night who was talking all that sm--k about being somewhere outside of NY yet ran sh-t in the CSSC. What trash have we hired for TLs.

@OP If it’s any consolation, in the old days they used to copy / paste a generic appraisal. It’s the reason I had a coworker’s name in my appraisal more than once.
Managers lie their way to big pay raises & bonuses while workers are left with crumbs.
This may difficult for you to appreciate. They want you to leave. It’s called attrition. Also look at the news. All companies are laying people off left and right and few are hiring. Ask yourself, do you want to be happy or do you want to have a job?
Y'all get hung up on the wrong stuff. Who cares, the review is there for posterity. If it's not bad it doesn't matter AT ALL. This comes across as petty back biting nonsense becuase you don't like your boss or deem them worthy to supervise you. Get over yourself

Come on. Let’s be real, nobody is leaving Verizon. You know you are overpaid, get raises everyday and totsay is STI day. In 25 years I don’t think I’ve seen more than two people leave the company.

It’s a shame. They lie, cheat, and I wouldn’t be spruced off they steal. There a sad case and clearly show how American universities just give away degrees.
Who cares! We all know the appraisal / rating system is a pile of crock in Verizon, and is a box ticking HR exercise only. I used AI to write mine, and I know my Director used AI to write the summary she gave me. We're all using the tools Verizon provides us. Quit whinging - as if you'd leave just because of an AI written appraisal!
My Sr director used AI for every email and appraisal she wrote
You do realize it's all to check a box? The content only matters if there is a performance issue where HR has to get involved, and those reviews come into play. It's not for your boss to understand, but to show that he/she 'did something'
My boss can’t pronounce basic 5th grade words. It’s a running joke amongst us and I’m sure his contemporaries as well.
