Thread regarding Optum layoffs

RRP and Laid Off Question

Hello

Would appreciate any information someone can give me. I was unfortunately laid off; effective November 13, 2025. I remained employed past the September qualification date. My Severance agreement DID NOT state anything about receiving or not receiving an RRP. My question, is there someone here who has been laid off and told they would be receiving their RRP? I called the employee resource line and the rep seemed convinced that I should get it...just looking for another opinion... Thank you in advance

Those laid off after Jan 1st that received severance packages are eligible for the RRP. States it in the FAQ policy, so no you’re not eligible

Zero chance. You have been gone for 4 months. What the he-l are you even thinking?

Unfortunately you will not receive RRP. I was also laid off last month and will not receive it either. You must be employed at the time to receive it.

Bud you ain't getting it. They cut you before your review for a reason. You have to be employed when it's paid out.

It is very likely any money allotted to you was given to other employees. This year it was not uncommon for even employees to get 0 RRP

@OP this is a serious question, but how would you begin to calculate what you might be entitled to? You have no way of seeing peer or customer reviews, you don't have the opportunity to have a review with your manager, you don't have an opportunity to rebut, etc. While I think everyone who was laid off in the fourth quarter would like one and even feels entitled to one, I'm truly curious how that might be operationalized in real life.

Not sure what division you're in but RRP is generally paid out in Q1 and you need to be actively employed by UHG at the time incentive awards are paid to be eligible.
