Things were working fine while I was there...after the 12/19, I'm not sure what went on with the network.
What a putz
@OP Funny on how everyone says Dan. When it's always a verizon engineer or tech that causes it. Great job again verizon employee that didn't do it right like the other telcom companies
Will this affect Han’s 26 million dollar payoff?
There is a Verizon outage happening today (January 14, 2026). Many customers across the United States are reporting service disruptions, and Verizon has acknowledged the issue.
Widespread outage: Verizon wireless voice and data services are experiencing outages in many regions of the U.S., affecting phone calls, texts, and mobile internet for many customers.
Device behavior: Many users are seeing their phones stuck in SOS mode, meaning the device can only make emergency calls and isn’t connected normally to Verizon’s network.
Reports surge: Outage tracking site Downdetector recorded tens of thousands to well over 100,000 outage reports at the peak.
Verizon response: The company has said its engineering teams are actively working to fix the problem but hasn’t given a specific timeframe for full restoration.
We have the BEST network
@a2 sure. Cyber keep them coming.
Hey Dan! How’s your coffee tasting today?!?
QUICK! Someone get Sam Hammock on the phone!
The network AND stock price have gone to sh-t. Good job Cowboy Dan!
It’s too soon to tell what caused this outage but if it turns out to be a cyberattack, the decision to lay off lots of cybersecurity engineers isn’t going to look so smart for Dan & co.
