Not sure what if anything can be done but..
VZ has continued to have union workers serve as “set up” managers before and after RIF (still as of today) in same exact management job. Is that getting leaner or simply a cheat day for Schulman Inc. is there a discrimination case there??

@OP Let’s be realistic. Most supervisors don’t really understand the day-to-day work of the union technicians they’re supposed to supervise. Because of that, an assigned tech, usually management relief (MR), ends up running the crew.
Exactly. Run the work group. Get 10% bump while manager on vacation.
@OP we used to have “acting” managers. They were the blow job union kiss as--s who would do a mangers job and get paid more. Is that what you are talking about?
