@5hy no job cuts are coming to Limerick it has been saved. Dublin only and they are taking alot of jobs from London and France and leaving some EU countries also

@2gz 2 people were layed off in Limerick I know some were contacted in Dublin but still not let go

Some teams have been impacted 50% in Dublin. Probably 15% total workforce. 1 month for each year of service. Limerick is safe for the moment, but they have terminated all people that were on probation.
@OP Complete BS.. Even contractors would be given notice and any perm staff would receive at a minimum statutory payments based on years served. So this looks to be a troll post. Also the majority of sourcing are based in Limerick and not Dublin.
You don’t layoff permanent employees like that in Europe

I'm not sure if that's correct - Irish law have a legal obligation of notice periods and severance where certain factors are met.
Ive not heard of any Sourcing redundancies, certainly not today
This is shocking as Ireland was a key part of the pivotal game changing VGS strategy to offshore and destroy American jobs and communities. Vz received a huge tax deal that made it worthwhile for our shareholders. Are they no longer delighted?
