- Shell walked away from the Argentina LNG deal
- Dropped 2 offshore wind UK projects
- Lost arbitration with Venture Global
- An about face in upstream IDN
With this much winning, I’m sure my stock portfolio will be through the roof!

In Shell, projects are only terminated after the Shell leadership has sufficiently drained funds from Shell coffers through kickbacks involving partners to personally enrich themselves — even when billions of dollars worth of projects made no sense or were headed in the wrong direction from the start. There are many examples of projects that were clearly off track and despite escalating costs, were not canceled soon enough. Lower tiered leadership like JG-A, JG-1 and JG-2s assist in this draining for their PSPs and promotions. These go on to become senior leadership themselves. Corruption cycle continues.
YL is a beta male crashing the ship who says terms like “risk appetite” so that he can pretend shell has any
The Argentina LNG deal was a money loser from the get go.. Shell should have got out a year ago but it’s very hard to ki-l projects at Shell.
@ct LNG is a real business but don’t know enough about the Argentina context to say.
I wouldn’t invest in wind anywhere.
I don't know what idn is, but do you want to be in Argentina LNG or UK wind? Would you invest your dollars in those projects?
What’s IDN?
The future belongs to enterprises with bold leadership who have vision, are willing to take calculated risks and stay the course thru to successful realization. Guess that leaves Shell out.
wael dedicated himself to being good at dropping the ball because his ba--s never dropped and he has been making up for it ever since
do you smell what the 🐳 is cooking?
it’s a golden parachute
@OP that’s not what’s important. It’s the seating charts being rolled out in NL that matter. RTO but you have nowhere to sit.
