Free weekend meals going away

At Kroger we get free meals on Friday , Saturday and Sunday. I worked for HyVee for 5 years and Kroger for 5 years. So far Kroger is a better company to work for.

They are cutting hours like crazy across all stores. Its suppose to be the busiest time of the year yet it don't seem that way at all. For the love of God what else is next?
This company keeps taking away from the employees that keep it going.. What happens when you start chipping away at the foundation of a building? Well, eventually it will collapse, that’s what is going on here… This company is spiraling out of control, they are losing all the talent that made this company what it “was”.. It honestly was a great place to work at one point In time, but once they “burned the ships” That’s where it started falling. It’s too far gone to save in my opinion.
I heard the one free meal on weekends is being replaced with cheap meals every day of the week, which sounds better to me.
