I found out yesterday by complete accident that someone who's only been here for two years is making more than I am, even though I've been at Fossil for almost a decade and we're at the same level. I'm honestly furious about it, and I'm still trying to sort out what my next move should be because it feels like a line got crossed.

I interviewed for a job outside Fossil for the exact same role I was doing there, responsibilities and all, and the salary was $30,000-$50,000 less than what I was making there.
Wake up and smell the roses...this has been going ON for years!
@OP You are in a sinking ship - this is your sign - get your resume' ready and LEAVE. This situation is indicative of Fossil and has been the case for years+++. You will not recover from this knowledge. Do yourself a favor in 2026 and get a new job. You are worth more.
Talk to your boss instead of posting on here
@OP pretty normal in work life fastest way to get ahead is to regularly move companies, but comes with its own risks of course. But this person also has experiences that could be better than yours so deserves more, your skills are probably been hindered being stuck in a company on the downward track for over a decade, maybe it’s more beneficial to look at yourself rather than those around you!
