Team of 10....
3 black women, 3 white men, 2 white women, 2 black men....
The 2 white women and the 2 black men were affected in the layoff.....Was this really random??
Also, of the 4 that were layed off, 3 of them are on workforce accommodations due to existing disabilities....Coincidence or not??

@OP what’s a way I can get in touch with you
I was impacted and race, gender, etc never crossed my mind.
The only thing I want to know is if my leadership's useless chief of staff is safe.
Nepotism should be looked at more than race, creed, or color.
there are alot racist people in verizon ,ive been here for 30 years and i have seen it all.theu smile in your face and talk behind your back.its really bad
@b1 - ADHD, seriously who gives a rap about that!
Get sime meds or take a walk t i'll burn off some energy. ADHD is totally contrived by Pharmaceuticals to sell more perscriptions. It has nothing to do with a company hanging on to an employee during RIFs.
As fir Veteran status, I know others who loyally and bravely served their Country but that has nothing to do with Verizon needing to cutback on labor expenses.
Also, have you noticed the Federal Government is going thru massive layoffs too?
Here we go again blaming the racial bias . Many I bet were DEI to begin with and now let them explore if anyone would hire them on performance not because of DEI
@OP - 30+ years, ADHD & a protected veteran was released. Was told selection wasn't based on performance. Just a bit annoyed.
Stop with the racial stuff. It’s the workforce and corporate welfare. I am a black woman and this is bias. Focus on your career and stop worrying about other people problems. If the tables were turned, no one would worry about you. Good luck to everyone!
Were any Jet fans? That might explain it
You should definitely consult an attorney based on your micro-view, even if the macro view has shown every race and gender were impacted. That law industry needs some extra Christmas money.
@OP You sound like a complete id--t.
