I have an interest to get back into Ford as an agency resource.
Rather than using Indeed or something similar, I want to reach out to the agencies directly. What are the most popular agencies for IT work? I seem to think Tech Team is no longer. Thanks!

I'd have to question you intelligence if you're asking anybody that currently works at Ford in a management role if it is safe. Let alone taking their word for anything. We have the regular narcotics abuser here continually telling you that model e is safe. While others try to put some kind of truth to what's going on. Look at the numbers. Look at the past 5 years of performance and the number of recalls that are happening. That should be a hint and a half for you on the direction things are going. Those Who Have Eyes should see.

Model e is safe. The safest place to be in the company if stability is your most important attribute of employmentat Ford. Of course you have to have skills that are required in Model e. It's a two way street.

Go to the annual “customer appreciation” parties put on by the outsourcing companies for Ford and have a listen as people get liquored up. Outsourcing vendor A is angry because another vendor secured the Ford ITO contract from Chuck even though vendor A has been providing some ITO services for “free” for years with the understanding that Ford would shift all ITO work to them (paid) once the politics were worked out (and FTE fired). It makes for interesting listening as vendor A is dishing the dirt
@b1 is the ITO org safe? One LL3 says yes, the other cannot comment when asked!
GDIA is another ball of wax. Things changed a lot after the LL2 left and went back home to Israel.

@ak ... that's a joke. asked several times to convert and always told no budget, tough time in company, etc after no months of action. conversions take a pay cut. OP need to go LCC for a job
@OP. Agencies that I know of: Teksystems, Millennium and ManPower. I believe Teksystems is the largest. However, and this is something to take into consideration, FMC has been outsourcing IT to India for years now. There are current talks to outsource IT operations company wide, even when many teams have already been cut to the bone in the past years. Complete IT teams have also disappeared from Dearborn, including app support teams, GDIA and the Ford Credit.
@OP. I understand you need the money, and maybe you have a very specific skill that is valuable mainly at Ford. Just saying that even if you get the job, don't think it will last long. Keep looking beyond FMC, and build a rainy fund.
