Spoke to 3 ADs so far who are my friends. They do not have any list.
Is there any AD who has the list?

@ce Consumer
@bh -- consumer org?nwhen you say supporting I'm thinking Kevin's org and not CS.
Heard theres a heavy hit to marketing + sales ops enablement teams now that they consolidated markets-- is it just 2 markets now? East and West? Or are there 4 --
@ac is that not the professional way to handle it?
@bd I will be vague so I won't give us away but we are in support and not Care. We work with many groups. It has not been easy. I wish I know more and who. How was this calculated? I was told we will all know soon. I have spent a few waking nights thinking if I know who if I could make that call earlier out of respect . I know people are feeling the pain of uncertainty. I might be part of the 18pct.
@ah which org/group?
@bc which org?
@bb what group?
@bc what group are you that’s seeing 18% and restructure?
AD here. Do not have a list but number of head count impacted was shared and be prepare for new org structure. Impact to team and SD org is 18pct. It is going a rough day
I’m an AD. No list and no training. Maybe my SD is doing the chopping. Maybe I’m a goner
The draft list was available on Friday most have been finalized last night the rest are supposed to be finalized by tonight.
@ad What day and how long is your RIF training.
Shindler has it
@a3 if they are letting AI make the decision as to who to get rid off, this company is doomed
@ad is there a percentage you can share?
AD here. I don't have a list.
This RIF is including quite a lot of ADs as we all know. So there is a potential that only Sr director(band 5) has the list and communicates.
@OP AD here. I've had the list but it's not the same situation for all ADs.
@a9 This is incorrect. It all depends on the SD's choice to include them in the process or not.
@ad did they make the list based off your stack rank?
@ad org?
I’m an AD and I know the headcount I’ll be losing and have to take a RIF training to prepare to make the calls, but I don’t have the list of names yet.
@a8 I have heard this too. They're being coached on how to let people go. Nice, huh?
My AD has a 15 minute meeting on her calendar at 6 PM tomorrow. Probably when she's finding out who to ax.
@a9 so how were the decisions made? This is insane to think they trust AI to select names when we all know about half of teams are super productive and the other half are wastes of space
ADs do not have a list nor do they know who is being impacted at this time. It is important to note that leadership was not consulted on who would be impacted within their teams. Previously Sr Directors and band 5 leaders would make those decisions. That is not the case this time.
My AD (VZB) mentioned he doesn’t have a list yet but has a training setup for tomorrow with HR to walk him thru the RIF process
@a5 *their friends. And this is a business not high school. Most leaders choose to save the best employees based on competency and performance.
If they are not being affected, then they would know early Thursday.
It changes from org to org, in the past I have seen VPs being the ones who call the ones affected, and then in other orgs it’s the AD or Sr Dir.
In short, like true Verizon fashion lol no true unilateral way of doing the layoff calls.
AD,and directors and senior directors would save there friends,so they all should have no input. NOV 20th you will find out
Generally speaking ADs FKA Sr Mgrs wouldn’t get their list allegedly until morning of.
Sr Directors FKA directors likely know already based on previous layoffs as well as stars aligning.
@a2 did they confirm they provided feedback as to who should be on the list? Or do we think someone random team or AI is selecting the names?
@OP My AD said he would have the list early Thursday
