Thread regarding GlobalFoundries layoffs

Malta-Albany Job Market

After being laid off, I relaxed over the holiday and began my search on January 2nd. Just shy of 3 weeks later I am once again employed! I was surprised how active the job market is in the area, especially the Albany region. If you are looking to make a change, get out and start networking/applying, lots of companies hiring!

Every single thread started is yours. Ninety nine percent of the replies to those threads are you. Maybe if you didn't post such sh-t, people wouldn't down vote you. Savvy?

Sounds like a good plan. LinkedIn is pretty hot right now. NonoScale CNSE -IBM has a ton of spots they are filling through recruiters in the area. Also Medical Equipment tech firms are hiring in the Capital region.. Good luck with your search, and on the journey ahead

Good for you man. survived the layoff but I started applying to other jobs in early Dec. I decided it was time for something else with a company not on it's way down. On a different shift now but it's cool. it's a better environment.

And Whoever is downvoting these posts, get a life
