Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

TINO TINO TINO - not spam - its meaning - your choice to use or not - repel censorship

It's very fortunate to have thelayoff.com where everyone can express their thoughts and opinion within the rules w/o free speech suppression and censorship that deny everyone else the choice to use or ignore as they please.

TINO (Teradata In Name Only) - Refers to directors and all executives above up to the board that were hired since 2015 to the present. They were entrusted to deliver industry leading revenue generating products to keep the company, not just a going concern but and industry leader meting the high standard that the company is known for. The people hired were mainly 2nd or thirds tier, new to the job, and mostly clueless in their roles as far as the product and its people that they inherited are concerned. Layoffs were common during their tenure and continues today. They did everything opposite of what Teradata was known for. The company is now in a different business, selling services instead of product, different people and ethics, different culture, etc. So they are known as Teradata In Name Only so that they are not mistaken for the the Teradata people and era of yesteryears that they so much despise.

One can search through the board for all of the TINO's actions that were detrimental to the company's product, morale, culture, revenue, etc.

So use or not as you please. Why have someone deny you of your choice.

Sadly, in all the years I have been there (part of the RIF on 1/10), every 6 months they have had nothing but turnarounds for the last 9 years I know of.

I think the worse is when they brought people out from Ohio and then let them go. All the people they kept in Ohio they brought in therapists for and nobody went to the classes.

I only heard of how great management once was, but honestly, I never saw them do anything. They can run the company in the ground for all care, but the smart, hardworking employees deserve so much more. The human side of running the business is gone. Nobody care, nobody is listening.

Some are so fixated with the word that they are ranting and whining to rid of hearing it.
Why they care? Must be trying to discredit others. Who's really unhinged.

Rather hear everything and decide than have trolls suppress all information.

looks like a few fixating with others using a term are turning into the same they despise and ranting themselves

looks like the word got under their skin so much that they are lashing out - must have hit home

maybe try focusing on the subject of the post, ignoring the term or ignore the post and move along

take deep breaths, take a walk, drink herbal tea, so many ways to cope

otherwise showing true colors of trying to suppress others and discrediting them to further own agenda

@OP, I personally don't mind seeing your posts (I just scroll through it), but you are posting similar staff over and over again, and that's the definition of spamming. Unfortunately, starting every thread with "not spam" doesn't change that fact.
Just so you know, spamming is against site's rules, you can get banned for that and all of your posts could be nuked. Rules are in the footer in case you wanna check it out.

On top of that, you are constantly trying to push your own agenda by using an acronym people don't understand or do understand but don't accept. At least try leaving out the acronym and see what happens

Oh shush. If you were actually saying something useful rather just ranting then no one would have a problem.

"opinion within the rules w/o free speech suppression" that doesnt even make sense. Free speech is without retaliation from the gov. Lets entertain your definition. Free speech within the rules. Is that free speech if there are rules?

Just say you enjoy a forum with like minded people where YOUR speech is within the rules

I think Teradata in Name Only started when Teradata spun off from NCR. It was Teradata engineers and workers, but NCR management. It sounds like the current TINOs are much worse..
