We were RTO 4 weeks of the quarter. Your manager is a dummy.
@OP Your manager is partially correct, but it wasn't due to RTO. People were 10% productive at home and now they're 15% productive at work.

Get to desk 7 AM, lunch finish in 15 min. Ppl expected to have meeting till 7 PM . All home now at 4 PM shop close people leave and no one open their laptop again day is called off.
