@zj Latin for terrible
@wc I do not know why he’s called Flimflam or what that means. Does anyone know?
@tq No surprise about his promotion. The two guys who caused the problem that led to the lawsuit were both promoted, one to vice president and one to senior director. Both came with the Aearo acquisition as mid level managers, then promoted multiple times in PSD.
Call him streets man or pavement guy or not a scholar. But flimflam? Please. Nothing worse than a disgruntled employee's cryptic pet nickname on a public forum.
Chief Legal Officer
WHO is this Flimflam…. I keep seeing this name pop up on this board but don’t know who it’s referring to. Name+surname initials and BG or div position will get me there. Just curious 😊
Why is FlimFlam still at 3M after his involvement in creating this very expensive situation 3M is in?
I call BS on your comment. The R&D VP is one of the most technically astute people (at least in the chemical area, which is most of 3M) around. He can go toe-to-toe with senior chem folks.
just seen this in Fox, United Kingdom service personel getting help with claims, this could be very exspenive although it is saying m3 will fight every claim and dont admit liability although the earplug were shortened to say money, my goodness
But that R&D SVP still has a job and slim understanding of technology and business. Amazing how they get to that level.
Nice work Flimflam.
@OP After multi-billion dollars is damages due to this product, the manager who signed the infamous memo that started this disaster is still employed and was promoted to senior director during the peak of the litigation. The VP who promoted him is Mike Kesti, who is currently being sued for s*ex discrimination by a former employee.
