Lowe’s is Self Destructing

The top leadership in Mooresville has finally steered the company into the perfect storm, and the ship is sinking. Operations are falling apart on a daily basis at every level of management. The days of spinning BS to Wall Street during the earnings call are coming to a rapid conclusion. No amount of choreographed photo ops from stores on LinkedIn will prevent the inevitable. The company is going under.

@OP definitely on a self destructive course. My store is covered each night by 2 or 3 associates as ASM sits in back office managing from a chair. The scheduling to get a GREEN schedule is a joke. There are phantoms all over the schedule to satisfy what? It definitely is not customer service! Night after night there are no associates scheduled in specialty areas and stores are wondering why they are missing plan. District staff should start popping g into these stores in the evening hours and catch these ASM hanging out in back offices. They will never come out to address a customer that needs help. They will continue to call the one or two associates even if they are already tied up with multiple customers. The truth is that we get more from or Supervisors than the Managers that are paid the big salaries and bonus. Totally mismanaged by ASM staff. Want to save the company money. Get rid of them all. The supervisors are running the show

Let’s just quit sugar coating it. Ellison and his cronies have milked the company dry while FILLING THEIR POCKETS WITH $$$! And he will continue to do so until he’s retired.

Many of the store employees are living at or near Poverty Level while he’s collecting MILLIONS of DOLLARS in compensation. And then he professes to be a devout Christian! What a hypocritical, duplicitous Bast==d!

All employees should have gotten a large cost of living increase the last several years, but we got nothing. Why bother putting in effort if it isn't reciprocated? a dollar today is worth much less than a dollar from a few years ago. Rent, car payments and repairs, food and anything else that is a necessity has increased into the double digits of inflation at least. The pay is not keeping up, not even close.

It’s every store employees are getting short changed. Customer service and loyalty going down the toilet at every store. Out sourced delivery to 3rd party took the dedication and loyalty out of the customer satisfaction of the whole Lowe’s experience of shopping at Lowe’s. Lowes is a joke! From employees getting short changed to customers getting short changed. The orange store is way better now.

As a result of corporate outsourcing the vast majority of their services. The quality of the services offered have significantly declined. The result is sales are tanking. Corporate then slashes staffing which simply degrades customer service further. And round and round the cycle goes! Employees including store management are leaving in droves. Put simply, the company is being run into the ground….

I know my store is a mess. I’ve worked there 5 years and you can see it getting worse everyday. This year is really bad.
