HA HA HA... this sounds so familiar... Karthik is winging it. No surprise.
… says Karthik Rao, Nielsen’s CEO, during a recent interview. “When you start putting more out, it’s going to get more complicated.”
For the disposable cheap labor making $4.35 in India maybe, but not for those who truly know what they’re doing with big data.
Nielsen is such a clown show these days that it’s hard to believe anyone has faith in the numbers they put out, or any respect for their mumble mouth, adultering CEO.
So although Nielsen invested heavy in cloud, then pushed to cut cloud cost, then optimized data calculation and reporting, then cut the knowledge base to make the optimization work.....we are to believe they have a plan in place to handle big data. Sounds more like winging it.
