Anyone else hear rumors that unlimited PTO is going away next year?

Unlimited PTO was, is, and always will be a scam. Take a week every quarter. That way, when they drop you like a bad habit, you got something out of the deal.
It was never unlimited; it just means if you get laid off, you don’t get pay out
The only reason they ever had this policy in the first place was to avoid paying out accrued but unused vacation when they fired people, as certain states require by law.
It isn’t unlimited. It is up to you doing your work? And how your manager sees it.
@az BS. People hired here with way more than that. No way they’d be that stupid.
@az wow! so they are cutting back all r&r hours!!! For example, today, if you didn’t have unlimited r&r and had 10-14 years of service, you would get 144 hours of r&r plus 80 hrs of well being. This is now being cut back to 120 hrs only?
@az Is that 14 working days or is it 2 “business weeks”.
New PTO policy is: 1-10 years = 2 weeks, 11-20 years = 3 weeks 21 years and up = 4 weeks.
Let’s be honest, is anyone really able to take advantage of it?
@OP ML said it was on the global townhall. No specifics that I remember on times/dates.
