Glad there's some kind people here, sending good vibes to people who are in a tough spot. There's others who are just waiting to kick folks who are down.
They would have stack ranked, based on discussions during the offsite. Some managers do not have the backbone to stand up. For those that are impacted, if you are in the US, immediately bump up your 401k contribution, so your year end tax liability is lower and you can get the full cisco match on true up.
Is there any additional severance for years of service?

When I got LRd, I immediately went to a psychiatrist while my benefits were still active. She prescribed medication that helped me through that initial rough patch.
Sending you love and know you will bounce back quickly. Hang in there. life after Cisco will be amazing and less turbulent.
You will get thru this and be OK
Happened in our family, kids were small and the first couple of weeks were non stop worry.
But, and this is the important part… we ended up better and more balanced. Give yourself a long grace period and hug the ones you love.
