Thread regarding Sharp Memorial Hospital layoffs

It’s a Sh-tshow!

It’s a complete disaster and very chaotic. People are really feeling the burn and struggling to keep up with work. They should’ve kept the worker bees and got rid of some leadership. We need people that actually work! And don’t call tac they are slammed! It’s like a 30+ minute wait minimum. Whoever decided to trim that team down is a complete id--t! As soon as the job market picks up, I’m out of here. The culture is 💩

@OP It’s sad they look at IT as overhead that’s why majority let go were IT. Explains why things are a complete disaster right now.

@OP I feel so sorry for the help desk. They are forced to keep churning as fast as possible. Management has always cared about numbers instead of quality and it’s even worse now since the layoffs.

@OP Funny you mention this. Family member was interested in a recent job posting and I told her not to pursue it. Listed all the issues and suggested she look elsewhere. There's been an issue with the culture for awhile now. You're just a number to these people. They'll su-k the living out of you and toss you once they're done.
