LBT was Plan B
Plan A was to break up the company and sell it off to various other companies.
Welcome to Broadcom, Global Foundry, UMC, TSMC, or just unemployment.

Better hope Intel got all of its Chips money because that tap is going to be shut off while LBT is CEO.
CEO needs to ensure Intel is out of the game when it comes to competition with TSMC at higher tech node, he won’t quit until that is done.
Stealing technology from TSMC through mainland insider employees is much easier for CCP than stealing technology from a US firm.
Intel is:
1) Intel's business,
2) Intel's stock price, and
3) Intel's employees
In any recovery plan, 3) would have to be reduced. And you all will hate the CEO for it.
LBT's reputation speaks for itself, company is better without him. He is literally destroying the company in the name of restructuring.
LBT bought $25M of Intel stock with his own money. That was the deal when he became CEO. Say whatever you want about him, but he has put real skin in the game. If Intel goes down, he will take a loss along with everyone else. That's more commitment than we got from PG or any previous CEO.
Sundar Pinchai should lead the intel
Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t know . . .
He won’t quit until he destroys the company.
We will save a lot of money than you or I quit. That is how cost cutting should start with a failing company first.
SK will get another promotion.. and the company will be a Dumpster Fire..
He will be in custody soon.
I want Carl Icahn
You say as if that is a bad thing
Typically, when an executive leaves, a new executive will take the job
@OP I certainly hope so. Woo Hooo 🎉 🎈 🎊 Party Time. He is the most hated CEO in intel’s history.
