@xj for engineers there have definitely been talks. The only exec svp for engineering just got let go and replaced. Not sure who you have been hearing from

@OP I think you’re just saying as your assumption. In fact there’s been recent discussions that nothing has been talked about returning to office. That comes from the mouth of an executive SVP.

Have they looked at how often deadlines are missed IN INDIA? Are they looking at whether deadlines being missed are due to defects introduced from imported H1B labor?

@a5 the atlanta office was closed last month and the seattle office is closing this year.

Yeah not gonna happen. There are entire teams in the org not even in states with offices. There are tons of directors and managers outside of states of MN/WA/GA. And these are teams with >50% of the workers in India.

Now, if you told me they’re gonna close the Seattle or Atlanta office or something, I’d almost believe that more.
