None of this is in our control. Only focus on one’s perception and what I can control

Find a new one with a company with a better reputation than this one! It's not that hard if you work at ir daily.

Life is short too. There are no guarentees. The days of working for Bell Telephone your whole life is gone.

Realistically, if you want guaranteed employment then your best bet is probably to enlist.

@ba I hope it that’s not what it means. How do you find that this is in your computer? Where should I look to see if it’s on mine?

@a5 question: I had Lakeside Systrack downloaded to my computer today. I could be paranoid but the last time I was Rifd with this company it was added to my computer two days before. What does it track?

If it helps, I'm in IT and I learned to always have a primary and a secondary skill that I knew could support myself and family. Use those to the best of your abilities to position yourself for not just your current job but for the future. I realize that may be more difficult now but learn and use the AI tools to aid you in your job. It is quite a useful tool with helping you to maintain and increase your knowledge, skills, and abilities. Make the situation work for you and not against you. Try to be more forward looking if you can and realize you're likely in a good position to see what's coming down the road for where you are and what you need to do.

There's never a guarantee for any of us but it always helps us to be prepared best we can and it never serves us to become statues and wait. There's a difference between waiting for something unfortunate to happen to us versus being prepared for something to happen. Prepare and be ready face it directly and you'll both do better and feel better. This has always worked for me and I hope it can for you too.

I suppose it's just a microcosm of life if you want a different perspective. Any of us could vanish any day, for any reason. No one knows. Does it su-k? Yeah, buddy. Not much we can do though. Try not to let it consume your mind.
