I hear that Vegas is empty right now because the casinos have raised prices and are nickel and diming customers.
I took a friend to lunch the other day to a very popular restaurant. We were the only customers.

Let’s be honest. HP’s growth is flat. No innovation of value, nothing. So should anyone be surprised with layoffs? The answer should be NO.

This is not the place to be if you are under 40 and want to advance your career. Far too many oldtimers here from the Compaq acquisition who do nothing other than sitting on their fat chops and editing PowerPoint slides.

CWs don’t get laid off. They are the reason perm employees get laid off which is why they are hated and treated like coffee.

I was put on furlough a couple weeks ago and was laid off within a week of coming back. Good luck in Vegas. You might need it to win the jackpot in case the same thing happens to you.

LOL, if it’s from Europe, maybe in 3 years or so. PS: was just WFRd a few hours ago…

I was required to take 5 days for Q3 and just had some nice long 3 day weekends here and there. I am required to take 5 more days for Q4. I consider myself one of the lucky ones. Everyone else was required to take 10 days in each quarter.

Vegas, nope, got plenty of Indian tribe casinos here, one on the beach.
