@OP Let's just say the acronym does not stand for Super Mega Great.
I heard from the SMG team in Poland that they’re going to be outsourced to a Hindi AI.
No impact to SMG this round. It is a good strategy to bring in Accenture...instead of paying folks just to sit at home waiting for something to happen. Ernst will have to start from scratch with fewer products to begin with.
@d0 SMG was a cesspool and now worse with people way out of their league. 1Q from now sales will drop even further larger layoffs and accelerate the Intel breakup.
It is kind of crazy that you have people like Ernst now leading Intel sales. All the Intel sales leaders who left over the years are literally laughing their a$$es off seeing these people lead world wide sales. They have Greg ‘s old TA leading client because they did not have anyone left…….it is sad, but funny.
SMG didn't finish their insights on time, so they got impacted while staying in their own lane on the cruise. Accenture!
Did I hit all the keywords there?
The entire marketing org is gone and outsourced. The rest of the org will have a similar fate too.
It is in the process of being outsourced.
It will take a bit more time, since Accenture has to do some assessments and figure out which specific jobs/job codes can be replace with AI and workers in low cost geos.
LBT will be replacing SMG with viral clips of him popping treys on his X account.
The way SMG wines and dines themselves and sometimes customers is out of control. Good ‘ol’ boys network
SMG going to be history according to rumours
SMG just cruising along, except for the M part.
Going forward it will be referred to as S-G
