Are we not allowed to do any shopping during shift, including breaks?

I was told you cannot shop in the same store you work at so even on my off days I have to shop at another store in the city. But its weird because I can buy my lunch here?
They pay u to work not to shop, you dont like it, quit simple as that. You cry baby.
