For those that are being laid off, what's the situation in your group? Are you busy and they laid you off anyways?

Yup, had the meeting on Monday
confirmed additional layoffs in August, ~10% in my org.

lots of developers let go but not scrum masters or po's or sososo people. The people that do the actual work were let go.

Regrettably, that's not accurate.
A few months back, Dexter sent an email outlining plans to send PS and PSP contracts to India. The email subtly mentioned lightening the workload of the US Tech Support Team by redirecting calls to India. It was phrased diplomatically, so it didn't draw much notice, they claimed it was meant to be temporary, but August will be the month when it's permanent 100%. Please go back to your emails, and the proof should be in front of your eyes.
You guys need to wake up and smell the coffee.

I was laid off today as well - part of ISG -Product
Laid off today as well, remote in ISG.
Took the hit today…..Based in Hopkinton.
The people laid off were not remote employees so that remote versus onsite debate is a bunch of cr-p.
