Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

NM Intel

Someone posted asking if we should continue with the fab in Lickin, OH.

I am wondering if it was smart reviving the Rio Rancho. I am sure Corrales was happy.

I spent the best dozen years of my life at RR before moving on to AZ and OR. I didn't realize how good it was to not have to be pulling knives out of my back weekly at the other sites.

Retired now and sorry that most of you never got to experience how good it once was.

The Village of Corrales should assemble a posse on horseback, and ride on in to the Fab9 clean room with a list of their environmental grievances.

@aa: if the will to expand existed there’s an amazing amount of space left in that land locked area without having to tear down fab 7 or buy out Perfection Honda. We don’t have to donate “spare” parking lot space to the Rio Rancho police force to drill on after all

@OP, For starters I don’t think the people of Albuquerque or Rio Rancho really liked Intel being there but that was 25 to 30 years ago, maybe they have changed their minds. I believe that site is land locked in with really no room for expansion.

why are you so sure there’s going to continue to be a NM site? DMO really doing that well?
