“Winner’s Circle” - really?

Teradata having a celebration event is like the Colorado Rockies celebrating their star players. And flying them to Rome? Shows how out of touch and privileged the ELT is. I guess there is an award for who’s revenue shrunk the least.

SM and RP flying over to Rome on private jets at the company's expense. Really obnoxious behaviour considering the era of austerity that we're in they could have saved a few jobs by flying commercial

Teradata has not been a winner since 2005 - anyone who works there is not on a winning team. They are on life support. They may technically stay alive 5 more years but it’s like watching on old relative suffer at the end. Everyone will be relieved when they turn off the machine. Sad….

While I am a firm believer in recognizing team accomplishments, I just can't believe the priorities of this company to proceed/schedule this event and spend $$$ given the huge RIF/layoffs and the dire financial situation with dwindling customers/revenue. I guess they figure why not?!?!?!!?!? SMH...
