I have a question, maybe someone can help me. I am on a maternity leave and was not notified. Do you think I am safe. I am scheduled to return fairly shortly. I hoping I am not outting myself out, I know there are at least two addtl girls in the same situation. Thank you.

@OP it depends the department…but if you’re an AB it’s completely based off tenure so if you’ve been here over 2.5 years you’re likely safe for now.
@a5 I can’t imagine getting that call while recovering from childbirth. This company is diabolical.
I know someone who was impacted and informed while on maternity leave so you're probably safe.
@OP legally due to FMLA they cannot reach out to you about work while on maternity leave but if you reach out you might be able to get an answer. Chances are you might be returning to work but only until they let the rest of those impacted go.
Reach out to your direct leader just in case, but I’m pretty sure you’re okay. I know there were people on vacation who got called.
