Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

401k

Did you have to pay back the company’s 401k contributions when you left/were layed off?

Apparently you don't read documents surrounding your investments when you sign up for anything, nor do you check Fidelity even once a year to see how it's going. Use your brain for what it was meant for instead of seeking out answers from others. Did someone take tests and write your papers for you in both high school and college or Trade School? Seek out a Fidelity advisor to help you as well. By god, do not go to TIK TOK for help.

No I haven’t been requested to do this under the vrsp plan but my 401k was transferred to me

How long before you are considered vested in the company?

@cr answers like this are useless why even bother commenting. I guess some have to say things like this because it s them feel important.

Only if it shows you meet the vested option. Can call Fidelity and they can walk you through it.

Simple task of logging in to fidelity would answer that question. Never saw that vested column did you? I wonder if as much attention to detail was taken with your former employment

@b6 Wow. No need to make people feel less. Being laid off is a traumatic enough without people like you kicking them in the gut.

I suppose thats a reasonable question to the financially uninformed. Sometimes I am amazed at what people do not know or understand but I suppose these are the same folks that have no clue what malware is and how to run it on the computer at home.
