@bc yeap from MTL site here. They laid off all the people from agency and we know we are next eventually. Just waiting for our severance package.

It was Neutron Omar who freaked out in a town hall and proclaimed ‘contractors aren’t employees’ when defending why the Tenets didn’t apply to them, and terminating their contracts was different than a RIF.
The site is going to be shutdown, they're just trying to transfer the production to PR. It's almost an open secret at this point... the manufacturing people are just there waiting for a payout, as far as I'm concerned.
@OP are you talking about CryoCath? Or the bunch of former Covidien employees that Global kept trying to get rid of for the past 10 years.
