Don’t get too comfortable - there are likely more layoffs coming

More than usual, that is. Even the back-and-forth on tariffs is enough to destabilize the business and drive up costs. If any major changes actually take hold, it could be a serious problem. Just the talk of a recession makes people tighten their belts and stop spending. And in our line of work, that kind of economic uncertainty hits hard. Naturally, we’re the first to go.

@OP I agree there might be more layoffs, it makes perfect sense. With 3000+ new H1B positions available, and only dumped 1500 in the last round, there’s a good chance we’ll see more laid off some months down the line. Not immediately, but i suspect it’s already on someone’s calendar to complete on/before 3Q end.
