Magellan Autism Clinical Services Department gave 8 people notice of layoff yesterday - all women, 5 POC’s. Horrible optics. Supposedly based on performance but couldn’t give any feedback when asked. Leaning full on in to the anti-DEI movement. Leadership should be ashamed of themselves.

It probably was performance related, but beyond their control or their actual performance. Leadership failed and the boots on the ground get let go.
I was impressed with how many POC Magellan had when I worked there. Women too. If they had fired my team it would've been mostly POC and women as well. I don't think racism is intended.

@OP those 8 should sue . Find a good lawyer
