Wonder how long it's going to take management to realize what a total disaster this acquisition was?

One word: Long sales cycle.
@OP all hail MSS!!!!
Pay numerous multiples more than $EMR should have in 2023.
Don’t think it’ll go the route of Intellisaw or the 5708 but definitely an “emotional” purchase on St Louis’ part
Hmmm....Maybe they will figure it out about the same time they figure out their Aspentech deal is a cluster....
Flexim will be stripped and their employees will be laid off
Clamp-on ultrasonic flow is an extremely crowded space. Flexim is very talented, but for the bulk of the applications (i.e. water flows) clamp-on transit time is a bit of a commodity. Flexim can definitely do applications that others can't, but the fact is that the flow sales group is going to put heavy emphasis on it since it is a recent investment, and once they start to understand they're late to the game (after sh-----g on clamp-on technology for the last 20 years), they're going to return to their roots of Coriolis, mag, and vortex.
From the data I’ve seen it was a good move. Always transition times but not a bad technology to add.
I am curious, why was it a bad move?
