Thread regarding Shell Oil layoffs

Class action

Very surprised there has not been yet a cohesive class action lawsuit amongst the people that have been laid off.

In 2025 those who got low ratings are next on the chopping block. I can assure you there’s some questionable decisions that have been made that need further scrutiny.

I was black listed for not kissing a VPs a**. He made it his point to tell lies about me so I could get hired. I’d love to join a class action lawsuit

Shell protects itself by offering severances valued at more than any likely recovery under discrimination laws. Unlikely anyone will wver forego the severance to pursue legal claims.

Yes we were treated like sh-t, but I don’t see any legal grounds. Shell has its CYA down pat.

Rub some dirt on it and move on.
