Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Masters degree in networking

Someone posted on LinkedIn that if you work for 2 years in Citrix NS ADC, that is equivalent to a master's degree in networking. For that reason, when I worked at NS, none of my colleagues has a master's degree, still they are stars there. They ignored many brilliant ideas due to egos/politics and I couldn't see them succeeding except by forming a mafia with the people they know in other companies.

Now, a couple of things for sure, people who worked there for years couldn't actually put a master's degree in their LinkedIn, just because they worked in Citrix ADC.
None of them couldn't join other companies at a title better than their Citrix title.
Whatever may be the case, noone from there can earn technical respect from a group I know, lol i know the software they wrote and one of patheric code I have ever seen.

Some how, they survived in the industry.

What master's degree you get, NS doesn't have MPLS, VXLAN, Most of the tunneling, BGP, IRB, macsec and VRF and many other networking features. Big joke, go and work for Cisco, Arista, Juniper or Palo alto.

It doesn't matter whether you have masters or not, those B & Bs there form a gang of their own and grow each other. The day comes to all of them when they all are fu$ked.

@OP+1iNm5r93,
You are talking about a masters degree, som b!tchE$ don't even have engineering background. Software is easy and anyone can program it, they acquire few skillset and survive.
