If the leadership did nothing, Shell would be among the companies that are being called to leave Russia but are still dragging their feet. Not ideal, but not devastating for our image, either. But no, our leadership decided to do some war profiteering. Let's face it, that's exactly what this is. Shell is a war profiteer and everybody knows that. They didn't think this through and this will come back to bite us in the a-s once the situation settles in ways they can't even imagine. They made the worst possible decision for the future of the company and for what? A quick profit. I'm ashamed to work here.

Our core values our supposed to be honesty, integrity, and respect for others - and leadership went against all three in this situation. Embarrassing.

While I understand the supply issue, you are telling me that there was no other alternative available? Instead they only put out a statements after they were caught and their explanation rings hollow. The negative ramifications will be felt for some time to come and BVB and his executive committee should be in the hot seat and we as employees cannot and should not let them off to easily. We need to raise questions at all meetings, Yammer posts and any chance we get to ensure that we are also appalled by their decision.
Their lies and deception are getting too much. Just like when GW states that we cannot increase your salary anymore without contributing to the inflation problem.
