Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

There is no difference

It's become ridiculous how much there is no longer any difference between someone who does almost nothing and a person who is exhausted from work every day. BH makes no distinction between them. Everyone knows that this is so and again there are those who want to learn the hard way that their efforts will not be valued here at all. I would like to know at least one person who will tell me that in his or her case the effort and engagement here really paid off.

@OP I can relate. This is the culture within BH. As long as you make enough excuses and kiss a55 then these folk get away with it while others are lumbered with all the work. Ex colleagues used all excuses under the sun while the rest of the team got hammered. Glad we're all no longer in this toxic environment. Such a backwards workplace.

Well Bucky, here's how I envision this works at BKR:

You are just 1 of the many cr--s in a 5 gallon bucket nearly full of other cr--s. When 1 of the cr--s manages to almost climb to the top of the bucket and escape, the other cr--s pulls her down.

Moral of the story is: it is a cutthroat culture here, and your hard work is not rewarded because the lazy back sta_ _bbers will pull you down or hold you back and the rest of the "Team" will $crew U🤔

Until we actually take a proactive approach to consolidate and reduce management, we will have higher overhead and struggle to compete
