Start with HR, outsource the entire function. Removal of bias

1099 employees (as contractors) to expand and contract to industry fluctuations. Removal of the constant hassle of onboarding and cost of benefits

Contractors get paid more by the hour anyway.

@OP BH does a lot of their hiring on a one year probationary basis through Spencer Ogden and similar companies. It’s been that way for a while (even when it was still BHGE).

I don’t know if anything that you said is all that different from what has already been happening for the past few years, be it at BH or anywhere else in the industry.

The current model requires HR to be at the behest of management. This allowes them the freedom to manipulate and contrive any situation to their benefit. ie:- Managers hiring family, friends and promoting them to incompetence.
