This blog is pathetic. Yes, there’s legit people worried about their jobs but most are a group of rumour wielding bullies who aren’t truthful. ARRIS’ ongoing failures are the noose around CommScope’s neck. Yes, CS should NOT have acquired ARRIS, but make no mistake, employees should be thankful someone bought the company. What would have happened if CS didn’t buy AR? Devastating restructuring and comp/benefit changes well beyond what CS had to do to redirect ARRIS failing businesses, thanks to the extreme dishonesty of our former ARRIS Chairman and CEO. Karma will get them both - deservedly so. All employees got hosed with job losses and lousy comp, and the same for execs - job losses, lousy bonuses and useless unvested and underwater stock options. Stating otherwise is a lie. But a bunch of you know that and ultimately choose to lie. Or you’re just uneducated.

We should be thankful for what? Thankful for execs that make bad decision after bad decision which affects hundreds/thousands of employees? Thankful that cs has been sending more and jobs to other countries? Thankful that execs run around doing as they please with no accountability?
You are delusional and have been brainwashed to believe that the company cares about you. Maybe you are one of the execs who is making big bucks yet continues to do whatever they can for the stock price.

CS is following a pattern of pulling from the Carlyle management stable to dismantle from within. There is no benefit to employees but great benefits to Carlyle and the C suite.

CS is guilty of overpaying... all the way back to Avaya. The exec team are like kids wanting a new toy at Walmart, nothing can change their mind.
Ruckus was a huge CF before Arris and before CS. Everyone wanted to date the pretty girl but then she took her makeup off, wig, nails, etc... like a SNL skit. The mgmt team there before Arris had no clue how to run a successful business and were already on the decline.

Nope. It’s not true at all. The company had laid off most of the Arris employees. And most of the Brocade/Ruckus team quit after the Commscope acquisition.
What’s left is worthless. Look at how much Commscope paid and what it’s worth now. The valuation has gone down.
You seem to have the idea that Arris is suddenly worth more money, now that Commscope bought them.
The fact is
- that Commscope overpaid.
- that Commscope’s Arris is worthless now.
You are completely right regarding Ruckus - the place was a total mess when Brocade bought them and just got worse and worse
Tired of CS people acting like they saved Arris. Arris was fine and was in process of preparing to shed dead weight when the id--ts came knocking offering way more then the company was worth.
CS has a long history of overpaying for everything, then massive write-offs follow and customers leave bc the c-suite is clueless a$$ holes. CS leadership has destroyed several good companies and I’m waiting to hear that they are carved up and sold in pieces. The pieces are worth more the whole and don’t you think Carlyle knows that too.

Commscope is laying off people constantly! There is no lie about it!
Employees are experiencing the c level poor choices, constant re org or layoffs.
There is no lie that cost of life adjustment got delayed till mid year and wont be retroactive!!
Commscope c level and board where smart enough to get in debt for 7 billion… no one forced them to come in and buy Arris!
This alone, is proof of how inept they are!
Regular employees dont have a golden parachute. But they have families to feed and responsibility to attend too… management at commscope is making you feel like the ground could turn quicksand under you, pretty fast!
Thus why people here are posting more!

Arris had a good thing going with ATT. They didn't need Commscope.

Sounds like upper management found someone to blame.
If you think Commscope knew what they were doing, then it sounds like they should have known better.
Over half the company is now fired or left and Commscope is still losing money.
And now it doesn't sound like they know how to do anything more than start blaming someone else.
And don't forget Ruckus was just as bad.
