@OP Start looking now if you haven't already. If you have a marketable degree from a reputable school and one year or more with UP you will have options. Educated professionals have plenty of opportunities available and firms are taking applications. For trade/craft workers with no college degree there are few if any options. When/if you actually get hired-on will depend on which state you live in and your qualifications/experience, because every state is taking a different approach to re-opening.
FYI: Don't give notice when you quit. It does more for UP than it does for you.

Vegas is putting odds out 4 more unpaid mandatory weeks off for non agreement employees and another decrease in pay just this time it will also affect the people left out from the previous month.
