Why don't you quit?

I swear, there are so many miserable people here who seem to enjoy their misery. Instead of quitting, they choose to stay in a place that is obviously their worst nightmare. Leaving is an option, guys. If you invested the energy you spend badmouthing Frontier into a job search, you'd be gone and happy by now!

Answer this: Why are contractors doing out work ? You cant. So bite me. From placing to installs contractors have been assigned our work as you lay us off.

Ok so a Director is rubbing it into the noses of techs. No wonder they feel like they do. Big A$$ bonuses to take trips . I know a Director for Wisconsin that licked a lot of boots to get where he is. You do the same?

No such thing as bad techs. only bad managers. How did they pass the interview process smelling like weed? Can't put a coherent sentence together? However, they did check the boxes. You can see it in front of you.

I started at Verizon as a billing rep 15 years ago. I am now a Director and I'm writing this while drinking a pina colada at a resort in Aruba at the President's Club. Life is what you make of it. I see nothing but complaining techs on this site that only know how to hate. It really disgusts me how the techs at Frontier are as lazy as they are stupid. SMDH

Well Becky , You must be in a lib area like Cali or Nyc.
In Wisconsin we have ba--s. Fire them and have the grievance procedure do it's thing.
Unfortunately our director thinks he has too big of ba--s . He thinks he's king.
NO One wants to work here because of him. There's a reason here that techs have been practicing slow work, and don't give a cr-p. Not because of laziness, drinking etc. They are just sick of management above me. Director Joe.

I just retired from Frontier and this so called manager is wrong. I did a ride-a-long with a tech about 10 years ago and I was astonished. I met the tech first thing in the morning and her eyes were blood shot and she reeked of mari--ana. I was a bit hesitant to drive with her, but I finally consented. The first stop, she just went to the door of the house and put a tag that said no one was home and immediately left. We then went to eat breakfast at Waffle House for the next 2 hours. Afterwards, she pulled the van under a tree and proceeded to take an hour long nap. I couldn’t believe it. She ended up only completing 2 repair calls the whole day. I went back and told my coach and he said there was nothing he could do because the union protects the techs because they want those dues every month. I was sickened. I hope Frontier switched to vendors for all their techs too.

As a manager I've dealt with vendor/contractors
They are the ones caring about themselves. And ad far as reboundiyit has to do with government grants and falsifying household counts to get the money. The POS C E O is the one that needs to go. Moving HQ to serve his needs. Really?

All this negativity on this site really burns my biscuits. Frontier has rebounded quite nicely. In fact, Frontier was recently voted Tampa Bay area’s premier telephone service provider. Frontier is expanding and offers many high paying jobs plus some of the best benefits in the industry. Please don’t listen to the negative techs. They are only concerned about themselves. Frontier will be much better when we replace all the techs with vendors.

How about those of us who work here, in the field, and think this is an amazing place to work and are really proud of what we do? Yeah, of course none of you on here has a good things to say so you must be d-mb if you stay.

For the life of me I don't know why this outfit doesn't sell off more exchanges. Old paper cable under pressure,copper and slow speed internet. Plowing fiber is not going to save you. To little to late. Customers still taste the poor service and marketing deceptions. On top of that no one wants to work here. At least in Wisconsin.

I bought stock in good solid companies years ago. And it has paid off handsomely. I worked at VZ/Frontier. Communication companies either adapt or die. Unfortunately this one is rotting on the vine. Good luck. Especially the the old guys trying to get out. I’m rich bee yatch. Later losers.

Frontier is an amazing company and we have top notch leadership. I’m a coach and my team members love the company and our goal is to help the customer. The problem with Frontier are the techs. The techs ruined Frontier with their greed and laziness. My team fields calls from customers reporting techs of stealing from their houses on repair calls and showing up intoxicated. It makes me sick!

I'm sure you've had your days, and maybe are not like the rest, but most old timers I've ever came across sit and do nothing while we carry the load. I've seen plenty of examples of worthless all around the company in all the ranges.
