serious ask...any idea how long the current rotation remains in place? a few bros from other companies tell me their working home until at least Sept/Oct. one dude is home til end of year. i've never been more productive than ever. i also have no kids, blah blah so no distractions....

@Bopt+152fEMaY. That makes no sense. why have 50% for one month. not sure what "planning team" you're on as i heard from a good source 50% by mid-July for anywhere from 2-5 months. i have no doubt 100% by December.
Goes to 50% end of July in USA locations. I’m on the team doing planning and likely 75% by September. Don’t take LOA as you likely won’t be able to come back....read the terms and conditions of the Leave document carefully. We have the best employment lawyers.

Explained I felt fine could they perform another reading? Then did and they let me go to my desk.
During the day I really felt like sh–. Coughing on everything. I felt I couldn’t breathe with mask. I wasn’t wearing most of day. So I decided to leave. I just learned I tested positive for Covid. Oops sorry

well it seems they extended it another month, but nobody announced anything. classic broadcom MO...receive the least amount of information, in the least amount of time, on an as needed basis.
spoke with a person who is still with CA...she expects a change in early July. probably to be announced a day before the change. she admits it's pure speculation, but she's called a lot that has happened there over the past year.
ultimately you work for a barbarian company. when i was still at CA, after they acquired us my boss warned me these guys semi-ruthless and create a culture like that due to the exec stock awards.
be happy you have a job for now while it lasts. not sure when they're going to start letting people go across the board...
