USAA, the United Services Automobile Association, will cut 300 positions across "most of our offices and different functions," a company spokesperson confirmed to Forbes, bringing the Texas-based automotive insurance company's layoffs this year to nearly 800, as it "continues to make necessary adjustments to run a healthy business."

800 is way under reported. Once again, Wayne proves he isn’t very good with numbers.
AND unbeknownst to current employees USAA is reaching out to previous employees and offering them jobs. Digest that one won’t you!
Pretty sure that these layoffs are rolling out over time to avoid the WARN notice requirement.
"Mass Layoff is defined as a reduction in force that is not the result of a plant closing and that results in an employment loss at a “single site of employment” during any 30-day period for (1) at least 33% of the employees (excluding part-time employees), and (2) 50 or more workers (excluding part-time employees). If 500 or more employees (excluding part-time employees) are affected, the 33% requirement does not apply."
I thought usaa " got healthy" years ago
It's very disappointing to learn this from the news instead of "leadership"
It is great to see that the press knows about internal issues before the employees receive any official communications. This really inspires trust in our leadership. Thought RTO was about building trust, opening dialogues between teams, and being transparent. This is now the second round of layoffs that we learn from the media what is occurring internally. Still the EC wonder why no one below them trusts them nor their leadership.
