Will there be any General Dynamics layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

@ads Got my notice last week. Time to buckle up for a new contract. Manager says a 80% chance this is final. MN took screenshots of comments GD removed from here. Go to the new reddit thread for updates. There's a private youtube link that gives the rundown of what's happening at hq. Three people are seen venting. Possible renewals happening around May, latest in July.
@qn The self importance of these people is beyond the charts. A news report came out regarding the changes unfolding in Reston. Insiders are finally speaking up. More people are unloading their shares, something's amiss ... imo
@a54 extensions won't happen, they'll likely put a lid it. It's been active for too long.
@9w0 TD and PD are counting weeks to launch. Some say it's about to be ready by April.
@OP TD has too many disgruntled XYs to count. Sova is already seeing contract changes, we're on standby for direction.
@1p3 Roger.
@11x I cosign the sentiment. Engineers remain on standby ...
The guy's got issues since his land systems days. He brought all his baggage to hq. A few of us are deliberating whether a transfer to another bu makes sense. It doesn't help competitors are laying off people in small batches. The next quarter determines what's around the corner. Sit tight!
@OP Something reeks of trouble at HQ. Turnovers are happening without explanations leading to one culprit in common. Leadership is selling stocks and key personnel are let go under shady circumstances. When good people are let go, it's a sign of trouble. Employees are speculating next steps. More announcements will follow after xmas as they start cleaning house with long timers collecting paychecks by default. They're scraping for funds to afford the pile of lawsuits building against them. The new president is rolling in a heap of hay before getting sacked in a matter of time. All the yes men are waiting for the changing of guards. If you got stocks, offload with caution then start looking for better deals in the market. I know a few folks at HQ and Groton, the rumblings are getting louder by the day. We'll find out how soon speculation meets reality.
