Layoffs happening currently at multiple offices at Otis. If you received a meeting invite from your manager titled Business Update you are getting laid off. Has happened to 7 of my colleagues today and more scheduled for this week.

More layoffs today at the factory ..around 40 is what we are hearing
All US positions for my role were eliminated (unsurprising since they did not provid job descriptions or expectations when creating the roles at the end of 2023 and kept the role frustratingly vague all year). I'm not sure if my global counterparts retained there positions. After some conversations with "leadership" I will not be surprised to see postings for a more junior version of my role in the spring (possibly in a country with a lower cost workforce).
The damage done by Judy has been substantial.
Eliminating $175 million by cutting labor force. Cuts will continue.
