"I left Juniper 7 years ago and unaware of the Contrail and Appformix"
Then you had your head in the sand - Contrail was purchased in 2013, and if I'm not mistaken, Appformix was in 2016.

Its always been Miller time. Juniper has been run and ruined by Finance and Sales Ops. They despise sales and paying the commission. Same for partners and rebates. Made a model thats punishes success. That’s the Miller way, and ably executed in EMEA by Queen JA

"JNPR acquired contrail/mist/apstra/witesand/appformix boasting all these investment will triple the revenue. They must get cut first before junos or spinoff them and get more money."

Contrail was ki-led off a year ago, appformix has been dead even longer. Mist is profitable, and Apstra is helping to increase QFX market share.

The level of cluelessness of folks who post here is mind blowing (tho I will admit that I am clueless about witesand).

There will be a small snip in early July. Cut out some fat before RSUs vest. And then there will be small cohort that leave voluntarily in August after vest. Middlers are freaking out a little as it’s a relatively poor job market.

This doesn't make any sense. There has been a lot of unnecessary hiring on programs like FOS. Even the hiring managers wonder why are they forced to take so many employees and contractors. Reason, they are friends or acquaintances of the CIO who are getting placed at Juniper and the hiring managers have no recourse but to hire them.

Nothing at Juniper makes sense anymore. It might however to the clueless execs of this sinking ship.

Barbies and Ken. Destroying Juniper one bad decision at a time.

Funny to hear these fools saying that Juniper revenues are challenged due to macro economic conditions while Arista and Cisco had gang buster results.

Juniper and HPE merger is the combination of two loser companies not heading anywhere.

Miller is mulling or has mulled it over? They did an employee stack ranking exercise a few months ago and might be mulling to use that for the culling. Hearing rumors about cuts happening the second week of July or even early June.
