Q has only 3 people listed in SEC filings deliberately, if people know how much they pay just one level below C(F,E,T) O it will be shameful.

This reminds me of that episode of Twilight Zone ("Button, Button") where a man shows up with a box with a button on top. Gives it to a couple. If they push the button, someone they don't know dies, and they get $200,000. After a lot of soul searching, they push the button. The man shows up, gives them $200,000, takes the box, and tells them the box will be reset and given to someone THEY don't know.

Karma is a b!tch. You may get promoted by sacrificing others, but one day your time will come.

@ @8dua+1quxsbsu. Actually every CEO I've ever worked with has been quite willing to cut headcount when needed. There's too much pressure from their board and shareholders to make the numbers work.

Why not? CA did a good job of layoff and has intensive layoff experience. Q needs to compensate him well to keep competitive. Experience of Handling layoff is highly desirable skill in today’s market, isn’t it?

Unbelievable...even if you exclude the stock compensation, he got 17% salary increase....WTF is wrong with our executive team? not ONLY CA...the whole pack. We need a Octane who fires them all on day one

They should add bacon as one of the gifts you can buy with Q points.

In the all hands, someone should paste the information in this article regarding executive pay raise and him directly if it was true. There was multiple RIFs and none of the employees got a merit increase last year working their butt off with limited resources.

Cut 1250 jobs in California.
Add 1600 jobs in Chennai.
Get a 400% bump in salary.
What a shameful disgrace.

He is still under paid in Q. There was a news that a San Diego company's CEO was paid around $30M last year. Q's CEO total comp should be at around 50M.

I wonder if that is a buy out deal to get rid of him?

I don't know if this is true. But if it is, all I can say is: What an a--hole.
